3-2 Shredding chamber

The Machine consists of a shredding chamber which contains two counter rotating hexagonal shafts fitted with circular blades of predetermined thickness which can have cutting hooks, depending on the material the shredder must process.

The material is fed through a hopper placed above the shredding chamber. The rotating blades with the hooks placed on their circumference take the material towards the center of the shredding chamber and as the material passed though the blades it is shredded and falls by gravity underneath the shredder.

3-3 Blade / Knife

Blades are constructed from high alloy heat treated steel for extra-long life. The application and product characteristics determine the blade design (blade width, number of hooks, hook reach). The positioning of the blades within the cutting chamber is also adjustable to obtain the optimum action and end product size.
