Alfa Therm Single Shaft Shredders operate on the principle of low-speed, high-torque shredding, ensuring controlled size reduction without excessive dust generation or unnecessary power consumption.
Material is continuously fed into the shredding chamber by a hydraulic ram feeding system, where a precision-engineered rotor equipped with replaceable cutters shears the material against a stationary counter knife. A replaceable sizing screen beneath the rotor ensures that only material meeting the required particle size is discharged, while oversized pieces remain in the chamber for further processing.
This controlled shredding mechanism delivers consistent output quality, making the machine ideal for recycling, pelletizingand RDF production.
